Believe in a good brainstorm, a consistent variety of approach
and a high level of finishing. 

Strong motion design background feeds into my work,
Regularly shoot my own stuff and like to mix it up;
stop motion, abstract, sound based, stills.
Will occasionally score in Soundtrack.
Also proficient in 3D. 
 
Credits and Employment History
Joined Aljazeera English as part of the core start up team,
where I was responsible for conceptualising & developing a set
of launch promotional campaigns. These ranged from station editorials,
launch generics, weekly and daily studio record promos.

Worked to instigate a proper post pipeline, based around FCP & Magic Bullet
with a shared Xsan. Trained the editors in effective grading routines.
Prior to this I worked the launch of TG4 in Ireland in 98,
first in design for two years then the following five years as a promo producer

Education
BA in visual communication from DIT Dublin, graduated in 1997.
Taught a course in post production & grading for editors
at the Galway film school from 2003 – 2005.
 
Software Stuff
Cut on FCP, very proficient in After Effects, the adobe suite, 3ds Max, motion (a bit),
Worked flint for two years, highly skilled grader, worked magic bullet since version 1.0.
