Pitched this and mortality bomb as statistical editorials intended to impress on the viewer Aljazeera's commitment to "every angle, every side" of an argument. We went on to produce a full slate of these over six months.

As above. The full slate was a nominated finalist at the 08 NY festivals awards. There was virtually no budget for this, so all footage is public domain, and the track was scored in a basement in Edinborough.

Inside story is a middle east news review/discussion programme. We pitched this as a template for a series of executions based on a visualisation of the phrase "the bigger picture, the whole story". I scored the music in soundtrack, & put it together in AE.

The VO for this one is in irish, for the curious. Onscreen text is translation. Trail for a doc about corporate malfeasance. Shot it with a fish tank and red food dye retimed in AE. I had recently watched the Six Feet Under Titles.

To celebrate 12 months on air, I pitched this as a template for a series on Aljazeera's coverage, we went on to make four more. I scripted it, Nathan Scaeffer cut it, I graded it and then voiced it to boot.

Turned around in two days, shot on a casio exilim stills camera. Promo was requested in response to recently published stats.
